Casablanca, Marrakech, the Sahara, Fes and blue Chefchaouen. Ride a camel into the desert for sunset and chase the light through the medina’s maze of lanes. The November 2026 tour is sold out; October 2027 is now open for booking.

Ride a camel into the Sahara to shoot sunset over the dunes and caravan silhouettes, then sleep at a Berber tent camp and dine under the desert stars.

Fes’s dye pits and spice mounds, Marrakech’s Jemaa el-Fna, laneways, city walls and traditional crafts — photos at every turn.

Houses, steps, mosques — the whole town is painted blue. We give it a full day, so there’s time to explore every lane.
Arrive in Casablanca, Morocco’s largest city. Visit the Hassan II Mosque, built partly over the Atlantic and hailed as a 20th-century architectural marvel, then Mohammed V Square in the city centre.

Drive through elegant Anfa to Marrakech, the “Pearl of the South”. Shoot the Majorelle Garden and Bahia Palace, then lose yourself in the medina’s maze of stalls and workshops. Jemaa el-Fna is a riot of colour, full of magicians, performers, cooks and musicians. Dinner in the old medina with live Gnawa music, plus a horse-drawn carriage ride around town.
Don’t missHot-air balloon: lift off at dawn for views over Marrakech and the Atlas Mountains (included in the tour price).

Cross the High Atlas to the Kasbah of Telouet, former home of the Glaoui clan, where fine tilework and carved wood hide behind crumbling walls. Then on to Aït Benhaddou, a thousand-year-old mud-brick village, to wander its lanes in the afternoon sun. At dusk, shoot the earthen architecture of Taourirt Kasbah in Ouarzazate.

Pass Todra Gorge and desert oases, switch to 4WDs, then ride camels into the Sahara for sunset over the dunes. Overnight in a luxury Berber tent camp: dinner under the stars, Amazigh music and stories around the campfire.
Don’t missDesert quad bikes: ride the dunes in the last light of a Sahara sunset.

Through the small towns of the Middle Atlas to Fes, with a full day to explore the imperial city. Shoot intricately carved plaster, arches and eaves. Fes is a city of artisans — metalwork, carpets, pottery, leather and mosaics. In the medina, merchants tend mounds of spice and tanners dip hides into the dye pits.

High in the Rif Mountains, Chefchaouen’s houses, mosques and much of the town are painted blue. The custom dates to the 15th century, when Jewish refugees fleeing the Spanish Inquisition settled here and painted their homes to reflect the sky. We have a full day here to shoot at an easy pace.

Then a change of scene: Tangier, the port city dubbed the “Little Greece of North Africa”. White buildings, seaside sunsets and a cool sea breeze make a perfect finale. After a night here, return to Casablanca via the capital, Rabat.

Airport transfer in Casablanca and farewell.
